Backed by 15+ years of stellar experience and driven by a passion for holistic education, she focuses on empowering students to grow with confidence, curiosity, and a global mindset.
A Visionary Educator
Dr. Alisha Madhok Walia holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Marketing & Sales), a Master of Arts from Milan, Italy, and a Master's in the Director of Education Program from the United States — certified by the Governments of Florida and California.
While pursuing her international education, she noticed a wide gap where many children and young learners lacked access to quality, flexible schooling. This led her to create Sunbeam World School, building on the 54-year legacy of the Dalimss Sunbeam Group of Schools, Varanasi.
She has gained deep expertise in guiding students with ADHD and autism, children with delayed learning, child and parent therapy and counselling, play therapy, and primary education — ensuring Sunbeam is truly inclusive at its core.
Under her leadership, Sunbeam World School provides safe and reliable access to education for 500+ Afghan girls, redefining what global inclusive education can look like in practice.
